North Point High School is kicking off its new school semester with a pep rally. They did a best buddies cheer that got all the best buddies’ kids involved in the pep rally.
“Getting to cheer with the best buddies was such a fun experience, and getting to be able to help and have fun with them brought so much joy to me,” Sara Simpkins (‘29) said.
They also got to announce the prom theme, A Tale As Old As Time. This theme got people excited as well as questioning what it would be like, what the decorations may look like, or what people may wear.
“The theme is different from last year’s, and I can’t wait to go to prom and see all the decorations,” Aubrey Wilga (‘27) said.
The pep rally also held a lot of fun games for everyone to sign up and enjoy. They did a wig snatch, which is when people wear wigs, and you try to snatch other people’s wigs without getting your wig snatched. They also had so many more fun games.
“The wig snatch game was super fun, getting to run around and be funny as well as watching people get their wig snatched was super funny,” Makenzie Schack (‘29) said.
The pep rally got everyone involved by recognizing the winter sports athletes. The teams got to run onto the floor and run through a banner with music and everyone cheering them on in the stands.
“Getting to run onto the floor was so fun, getting to experience the love and support from everyone as well as being with my team once more,” Campbell White (‘29) said.
This was a fun time for the North Point Grizzlies to connect as a school and have such a fun and exciting time as a whole.
