The unexpected snow days or unexpected AMI day? What to expect? Let’s help our students understand this concept better by going in depth.
The picture below helps us understand how the snow days are working this school year. Day 1 and 2 would just count as a normal snow day. Day 3-7 would count as an AMI(Alternative Methods of Instruction) day, where students would work online, teachers would just send an email for what to do that day. Day 8-11 would count as traditional snow days. If there are up to 12 days needed it would extend the school year to May 29th.
