As we are coming to the end of the school year, students are excited for summer and the plans they have for summer. So, let’s find out what our students are up to this summer. For some, summer might not be about just sleeping in.
“My plan for the summer is to work a lot,” Kaylee Washington (‘27) said.
Summer is all about being outside together with your friends.
“I’m very excited to hang out with my friends over the summer,” Washington said.
As the school year is approaching, everyone is ready for school to end.
“I feel good, and I’m ready for it to be over,” Washington said.
As much as we are excited for the school to end, many are still focused on productive things.
“My plan is to be locked in and earn some money this summer,” Christian Beals (‘29) said.
For some students, school might not be their thing.
“I’m most excited about not being in school,” Beals said.
Late starts, early endings, either way, our students are excited for the long break.
“I feel good, you know, I came in later during the school year, but I’m still excited for school to be over,” Beals said.
The focus during the school year is on studying, but this summer our students are really focused on their jobs.
“My plan for the summer is to work my job and make more money,” Jayron Hendrix (‘27) said.
Many students are just excited to have a long break that’s been long-awaited.
“I’m most excited for the school year to be over,” Hendrix said.
The word of the summer is energetic.
“I feel very excited. I’m very energetic, and I get to sleep all day,” Hendrix said.
Everyone is ready for summer and to sleep in and go to sleep late without having to worry about waking up early for school.
