This year, the football team had three defeats out of none games. Which is a pretty decent amount if you look at the wins. 6-3? I’d say that’s good.
Some of the senior players had a very good football season, and enjoyed that they had such a good season as their last.
“My favorite part of this season was us setting the new record for the most rushing in a single game,” Anthony Baugher (‘26) said.
Baugher also commented on our likely most tense game.
“Liberty was the most intense game this year,” Baugher said. “There was so much going on in that game, and it was the game that either made our season or broke it, especially since both schools were undefeated.”
Up until the game against Liberty, both schools had three wins and zero defeats. However, that night, we were Liberty’s first defeat, making them 3-1, and bumping us up to 4-0.
Some of our freshman players had different opinions on the most intense game this year.
“The most intense freshman game was the game against Washington High School,” Kyler Barthold (‘29) said.
Some of our team players had other favorite parts of their season.
“My favorite part of this football season was the team meals,” Ben Barfield (‘26) said. “I liked the communion factor of it, how we were all together.”
