With Thanksgiving coming just around the corner, our students and staff are thankful for many things. Thanksgiving is the time to thank your loved ones for the things they do, and for how they helped shape your life. A lot of people are thankful for different things, and people. Now at our school, students and staff alike would like to share what they’re thankful for this Fall season.
Lots of people are very thankful for their friends and family, among other things as well.
“I’m thankful for my family,” Drayden Aldridge (‘29) said.
Many are thankful for friends.
“I’m thankful for my friends and my best buddies, Addy and Lily,” Ashley Horn (‘26) said.
As well as family and friends, sports teams are a popular thing students are thankful for.
“I’m thankful for my parents,” Kylen Bury (‘28) said, “I’m also thankful for the Cardinals.”
Some students are thankful to be at our school.
“I’m thankful to be here” Ty’ron Williams (‘26) said.
Teachers at our school are thankful for their students.
“I’m thankful we have a 7 Brew by that school that I can stop at on the way here,” English teacher Chelsea Hazell-Moss said, “And I’m thankful that I work for a wonderful school district with great students.”
Now of course it’s Thanksgiving, so of course students are thankful for food.
“I’d say I’m thankful for my mom and McDonald’s hashbrowns, since they both make my life better,” Drake McIntosh (‘28) said.
Thanksgiving is a time where people can be with their loved ones, and especially now more than ever, people need to give thanks to the things and the people that have shaped their lives.
