Do you ever think… What if I did something differently? Have no regrets when you grow old. There is no chance you won’t have regrets or not make any mistakes; it’s everyone’s first time living life.
To live life you have to stop living in the past or the future, live in the present.
“My message to the past would be to be confident and live in the moment,” English teacher Sarah Bacon said.
Hey, everyone has their bad days and good days. Why stress over some comments when there are better things to worry about?
“My message would be to not to take people in high school seriously,” Biology teacher Dylan Clamors said.
Change is the only thing that’s permanent. You can’t be afraid of something that’s going to happen either way.
“Be confident in who you are and not be afraid of change,” Science teacher Matthew Skroblus said.
Our mistakes are the best lessons for ourselves.
“Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, because it will make you better in some way or another,” Western Civ teacher Justin Schmidt said.
Along the same lines, others also think being bold is the best way forward.
“Take more risks and do it scared,” US history teacher Kellie Foster said.
For some, worrying too much has never worked out, but having a different mindset is always a good thing.
“Everything will always end up being okay,” Cultural Geography teacher Heather Ohlms said.
If you don’t have fun in your younger days, you are wasting it all.
“My advice is to not take things too seriously and have more fun,” Government teacher Lindsay Kahoe said.
Many teachers agree that procrastination can be detrimental to progress, success, and even mental health. Doing things on time and earlier helps your future self.
“My advice is to start investing in stocks earlier,”Art teacher Gina May said.
Managing time is an important life skill that everyone should learn.
“My advice would be to work on time management earlier,” Biology teacher Brittany Clynes said.
At the end of the day, everyone has their regrets and wishes they did something different, but it’s everyone’s first time in life, and they are still learning. Don’t beat yourself up for your failures. Instead, learn from them.
