With it being October, we are now in the spooky Halloween season. One of the most common elements of Halloween is people dressing up as many different things, whether it be scary or freaky, but some people have no idea what they want to dress as.
According to our student body, they have varied plans for Halloween this year. Maybe you can get some good ideas for things to do this year.
Now, a lot of people are unfortunately not dressing up for Halloween, thinking that they’re “too old” to dress up anymore, but some people still find joy in dressing up for Halloween.
Now, some options from our students are quite typical, but others are unique. Maybe seeing what other people are going as this year can inspire an idea of what you will be dressing as this year.
With a little over 180 responses, there were definitely some highlights that should be shown off.
With superhero movies coming out practically every week now, a lot of people want to dress as their favorites, popular costumes.
“This year, I will be Spider-Man,” Drake McIntosh (‘28) said.
Heroes wearing masks are a very popular costume choice.
“I’m dressing as Batman,” Andrew Maechling (‘26) said.
Whether the costume idea is a hero or villain, superheroes were a popular category, with a lot of people choosing the Joker.
“I’ll be the Joker,” Naomi Warmack (‘27) said.
Now maybe you aren’t a superhero person, and you’re more into dressing up as someone that you admire.
“I’m dressing up as Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit,” Cooper Hicks (‘26) said.
Another person that one of our students will be dressing up as is our president.
“I’m going to be Trump,” Izaiah Delgado (‘29) said.
Video game developers were one of the most unique ideas.
“Shedletsky Roblox,” Alexa Sutton (‘26) said.
Some of the other popular costumes that were very common include a Mermaid, a Cop, The Lorax, and even the classic old scary clown costume.
