With the new school year beginning, we welcome many new teachers. One of those teachers is Mrs. Buford.
This is her 22nd year teaching and her first with us here.
“I was transferred here from Holt and wanted to be a part of it all here,” Buford said.
She was excited to be a part of our new school and traditions.
“My goal as a teacher is to help shape students into successful business and marketing professionals,” Buford said.
Mrs. Buford teaches Personal Finance and Business Technology. She also sponsors FBLA and DECA.
“I would like to help students win awards for FBLA and DECA,” Buford said.
Haley Tebow (‘25) has Mrs. Buford for Personal Finance and really enjoys her class.
“If I were to describe Mrs. Buford to someone I would say that she is organized, thorough, intelligent, and her room is also a perfect work environment,” Tebow said. “I like how she goes through the work with us so we can understand it instead of just throwing us into it. Mrs. Buford helps me by not taking off late points, which helps me when I’m stressed to know my grade won’t go down if it’s one day late.”
