Meet Mr. Hult

One+of+our+wildest+new+teachers+here+is+Mr.+Hult+who+teaches+Spanish.

One of our wildest new teachers here is Mr. Hult who teaches Spanish.

As the new school year begins, we are welcoming many of our new teachers, with one of those being Mr. Hult.

”This is my 34th year teaching Spanish, from teaching at Holt High School for ten years to Timberland High School for 23 years,” Hult said.

He loves teaching Spanish because the teaching experiences have always been different and unique for, not only him but also for the students and staff.

“I like being around young people with lots of energy,” Hult said.

Perhaps he gets his energy from the amount of students he’s around every day. He was voted Teacher of the Month for September. The students enjoy his energy as much as he enjoys theirs.

“I set the silly bar so low, so no one in my class is embarrassed,” Hult said.

He makes sure kids are never overwhelmed, by the fact that they will have to speak a different language in front of multiple people. Nor, get embarrassed for things they will have to do knowing Mr. Hult has done almost everything.

“ I do rhymes, raps, jokes and stories for my methods of teaching,” Hult said.

These ways of teaching can trick a student’s brain into thinking that the work is easy and not difficult, so he uses that to help them understand Spanish more easily

If Mr. Hult wasn’t teaching,  he would be making millions.

“I’d work in advertising, I’d really enjoy that.

They pay two million dollars for a thirty-second Super Bowl commercial,” Hult said. “I want a piece of that action.”
