With summer only a few weeks away, there are many students who have fun activities planned for their break.
Many cannot wait and are ready to finally be done with school, like Sophie Kuessner (‘26).
“I’m excited to swim, eat food, have a good time with friends and be done with school,” Kuessner said.
Others have fun vacations planned for their break.
“I’m going to go to Florida to surf and fish and I’ll also be hanging out with my girlfriend.” Jack Delcour (‘28) said.
But there are also many students who might not have many plans or not know what to do over their break, so here are some ideas.
One activity you could enjoy is going on late night drives. It could be fun to blast music and hang out with your friends and go out and explore.
Another fun activity to do is having a late night movie marathon, invite your friends, and stock up on snacks and drinks.
There are also many fun hobbies and new skills you can try out. Like gardening, cooking, baking, reading, art, crafting, journaling, gaming, woodworking, playing an instrument, etc. These are all great ways to pass the time.
A way you could spend your summer is getting a summer job. There are many places that you could get a job like as a lifeguard, fast food worker, daycare assistant or babysitting, camp counselor, etc. All of these are great ways to make money and then be able to participate in other fun activities.
The last suggestion is to make a bucket list. This is a great way to complete many things you are wanting to do. Some things you could list are deep cleaning your room, skydiving, deep sea diving, world wide roadtrip, ect.
All of these activities are great ways to pass time over the summer and ideas to make sure your summer break is enjoyable. Have a great summer.
