Sport teams had a blast while performing their routines in front of the students and staff. While it’s a lot of suspense, it’s super rewarding and exciting.
“The pep rally was super fun and it was exciting to dance in front of the whole school,” Abby Marks (‘29) said.
At the pep rally, our STUCO President, Reid Struckman, announced the homecoming theme.
“Are people going to dress like a dinosaur,” Jayden Flores (‘27) said.
Although some are confused about how the decorations will look, everyone was really excited when all of the dinosaurs walked out. They just kept coming.
The games they played were really fun as well. One of them was musical chairs basketball and Ben Barfield won.
“It felt amazing because I got last place freshman year,” Barfield said. “I played every year. I got 9th sophomore year out of ten and 4th junior year. I finally won.”
The pep rally ended with a cheer/chant competition. It was so loud with all the classes screaming when it was their turn, but the seniors won.
“We were definitely louder than anybody else,” Dylan Richards (‘26) said.
Our next pep rally will celebrate all of the fall sports’ teams. There will also be a few surprises thrown so don’t miss out.
