There have been many new teachers introduced to this school this year including Mrs. Bond, one of our new Earth and Space and PNPS teachers.
Teachers have many reasons for becoming a teacher, many of which are empathetic.
“I always love being able to give opportunities I didn’t have, and students know they have at least one person to support them,” Bond said.
Mrs. Bond sets her goals high as a teacher.
“My biggest goal is to support my students,” Bond said.
She enjoys being a teacher and has been teaching for 9 years. Before coming to North Point, she taught at Cleveland, ROTC, and Maryville University.
I like getting to know the students outside of science, like their interests,” Bond said.
Bond sets the bar high for her students and helps them reach their full potential.
“I want my students to learn from mistakes and to not let people tell you, you can’t do something,” Bond said.
Her students have easily formed bonds already with her.
“She’s very sweet, and easy to talk to. Very understanding. If I ever had a problem I wouldn’t be scared to talk to her,” Lacey Sansone (‘26) said.
