Tonight, on August 31, attend our open house at North Point High School.
All students are welcome anytime between 5-7 pm and no appointments are necessary. Open House continues to help prepare families for school.
“We have this every year, it’s routine,” Mr. Heiger, one of our principals said.
When attending this event you will get the chance to visit teachers throughout the school and learn more about classes. You and your guardian will have the opportunity to ask teachers questions and get to know them more.
Open house not only benefits students but guardians as well because it gives them a chance to experience what environment their child’s learning in. Parents and guardians will be able to see the clean, safe, and focused environment we have created for us. They will also have the choice to refresh themselves on what expectations the teachers expect of their child.
Not only will you be able to see the teachers, but this is also an alternative option for the guardians who weren’t able to tour the school on Welcome Day. You will have the chance to learn more information about clubs and school activities to join, or possibly start.
If you are worried about a certain teacher not attending, keep in mind that the FCCLA and Educators Rising Club are providing childcare for our teachers. By offering this it allows our students to apply their learning and work with younger kids of different ages, also, this makes it more convenient for staff.
Some coaches will miss Open House due to a scheduled game, but most teachers will be here.
