Grizzly Park after Dark is all wrapped up now. The students had fun getting to dance and hangout with peers. There were many memories made that night. The amount of people that were there was very high and everyone had fun and it was very hyped.
With over 1,000 students in attendance the dance floor was insane, you could feel the music in your body all throughout the dance floor. There were many favorite parts to the dance but some parts were better than others.
“The DJ this year was much better than last year,” Nathan Harwood (27’) said. “STUCO did well in the hallway with decorations, the dance was just a good time and it was very smooth compared to other years, everyone was having a good time.” Harwood (27’) said.
The entrance was very elegant with hints of jurassic. Lights streamed the halls with little rocks and dinosaur roars. People were expecting it to look like a children’s party.
“The entrance was pretty,” Avery April (29’) said “The dance was fun, everyone there was super sweet,” April (29’) said.
The music was crazy, it went from rap to white girl music. It got everyone pumped up and excited during the night. Then the homecoming queen and king were announced. Which had everyone going wild.
“It was a huge honor to win,” Benjamin Barfield (26’) said. “I’ve worked really hard over the past few years, as well as making some friends in the process to help me get to homecoming king,” Barfield (26’) said.
The homecoming dance was a win overall for everyone. There were so many fun activities for everyone there were photos, dancing, and hanging out with friends.
“The dance was good, and I was in a couple different dance circles with my friends.” Ezra Khanamuenwai (26’) said.
