This Halloween, there are a lot of haunted houses going around. There are rumors of monsters running around Missouri. Haunted houses seem to be very popular this year, with at least 24 students at our school going to the same one: the Cobb Factory.
“It was a lot of fun,” Kiersten Brown (‘27) said, “ It was scary because of the actors, though.”
Many students loved it more than they thought they would.
“Yes, I Loved it, because it was a different experience, but I had a lot of fun,” Kahlan Carroll (‘29) said. “Some of the rooms were scary. Most of the characters were funny-looking, but the jumpscares got me every time.”
Some people were scared, some people had more fun, however, for the most part, they agreed that it was scary and fun. Now, while Cobb Factory did seem to be the most popular, Many students also voted for Fright Fest with six votes, and The Lemp Mansion had three people visiting it, and Creepy World also had three.
“Six Flags was kind of scary, but not really because I know it’s not real,” Emma Carey (‘29) said. “What made it scary was the people jumping at me.”
Creepy World is in Fenton and is worth the drive.
“CreepyWorld was a lot of fun because it was my first time,” Isabella Level (‘27) said.“However, the actors did make it scary.”
Many of our students like the scariness of the haunted houses and the surprise jump scares.
“I love scary things, so The Lemp Mansion was a lot of fun,” Aubree Tullock (‘26) said. “ It was only scary in some parts because of the actors and jumpscares.”
As you can see, haunted houses are very popular, especially The Cobb Factory. This fall, will you dare yourself to take a risk and go to a haunted house? Or will you choose to stay safe and stay in the comfort of your own home?
Happy Halloween.
