Each year there is some kind of new trend for all seasons. This summer is going to have a lot of new trends and styles, some even being brought back from older times.

For makeup, the “clean girl makeup” has really taken off and a lot of people have been doing it. It’s basically makeup that’s very minimal and isn’t noticeable looking extremely natural. With vacations and natural glows, this is going to be the biggest makeup trend this summer.

Leading into that, tanning beds have become a big thing recently. They even put a new tanning salon, including tanning beds, out in Wentzville and other surrounding areas.

Camo print has been trending lately, and I think it is going to stay for summer. Camo is darker colors, which typically is for winter, but lighter camo has become more popular.

Dark hair has been the most trending hairstyle of dying recently because of winter, but I think as everyone tans, the sun, and the lightness of summer, everyone is going to dye it blonde. Blonde is a summer color as it has been for a long time and it’s not going to change yet. Even light highlights with darker hair might even be a thing.

Also, the big new trendy hairstyle is a slick back pony/bun. Some people hate it and some people love it. But a lot of people have started doing it and making it more known and trying it out. You see people wearing slick backs a lot on social media, going along with the “clean girl” aesthetic as well. Jorts have become more worn, but specifically longer jorts. The cleaner “skater” look of them has been seen a lot more too recently.

But last, duck nails. Duck nails are acrylic nails that are wider at the end tips and get small towards the cuticles. A lot of people don’t like them, but you see them more and more on social media.

The color pink is also being worn, hair colored, and a whole style revolving around the color pink. People are dying parts of their hair pink, getting their nails, eyelashes, clothes, braces, etc. all pink. There are definitely different trends that have been and will be going around, but these I think are the ones that will stay for this summer.
