Raising Excitement at Raising Canes
On opening day of Raising Cane’s North Point was presented with a $1,000 check.
During spring break Raising Cane’s had a Very Important Caniac Day on March 20. Journalists were invited for a photo session and a free meal. Amanda McBride, Area Leader of Marketing, showed the students around.
The next day, March 21, was the grand opening of Raising Cane’s, where cheerleaders, band members and dancers showed up for the $1,000 check presentation. Dr. Shelmire, Mr. Elmendorf and Mr. Heiger were also there to accept the generous donation.

Thanks so much Alaina for covering the Raising Cane’s opening! We hope our Restaurant can become the North Point hangout spot this year.
