Meet Mr. Vercher
It is a new year at our wonderful high school, and we have been getting an influx of new teachers coming from all over. They all teach many different subjects and assist in many different departments here. We are all so very thankful for everyone here and are excited for more student-teacher bonds to unfold.
One of our new beloved teachers is Mr. Vercher. Mr. Vercher works in the department of industrial technology and home maintenance, and is an assistant coach for our football and wrestling teams. Before teaching at this school, he worked at another fellow high school out in St. Charles, Missouri.
“I used to work at St. Charles West,” Vercher said.
He is also aware of what he thinks are some good qualities of our school.
“The awesome staff, the students that care about their futures, the brand new teachers, and the journalism class,” Vercher said.
Many students have great thoughts about Mr. Vercher.
“He’s a very nice guy,” Jake Philips (’25) said. “He teaches very well.”
There are a lot of things that can inspire a teacher to do great at their jobs, and Vercher just so happens to have one.
“Watching kids grow,” Vercher said.
It is a very captivating yet wonderful idea, watching a freshman grow into a leader throughout their years in high school, all the way up to when they are a senior, and ready to pursue the paths that they have set.
Each of our teacher’s responsibilities is high, and it seems like all of our new teachers are doing great, including Mr. Vercher. He shows compassion for his students and seems to be excited about the new year. We are very excited to have you here at our school and our students may have a great time learning from you.
