As of recently, our family at North Point has increased in size with our new assistant principal, Dr. Todd Kraft. We are so excited for him to be a part of our staff, but also our school. Dr. Todd is excited to be here as well.

“It’s really exciting to be here,” Dr. Kraft said. “Dr. Shelmire and the others can be pretty busy, and so I was contacted and asked if I wanted to be a principal, and of course, I accepted.”

Dr. Kraft has had a long history before coming to North Point.

“I volunteered at Boone Trail Elementry for two years at first,” Dr. Kraft said. “Then from there, I moved on to Green Tree Elementry for four years. After that, I spent a big chunk of my career at Heritage Intermediate, exactly ten years. From there, I moved on to be the new assistant principal here at North Point.”

With this history, Dr. Kraft has much knowledge about what it really means to be a part of the office staff. He also expresses his excitement about being a part of the staff.

“To me, it’s all about building bonds with the students,” Dr. Kraft. “It’s important to have big relationships with the students and the office staff.”

Dr. Kraft has already gone around the school talking to students and staff, increasing bonds and making memories. We are so excited to have him here, and can’t wait for him to make memories with all of us at North Point!
